Card Writing Tips

Guidelines to help your words land with warmth and care.

Keep It Positive

Focus on uplifting messages. Words of encouragement, hope, and kindness go a long way.

Be Genuine

Write from the heart. You don't need to be a poet — sincerity is what matters most.

Keep It General

Write "Dear Friend" so the card can be given to anyone. Don't address a specific person.

Avoid Sensitive Topics

Steer clear of religion, politics, and health-related topics. Keep it universally uplifting.

Share a Memory or Moment

Describe a beautiful sunset, a funny pet story, or something that made you smile recently.

End With Warmth

Close with something like "With love" or "Wishing you joy" — a warm sign-off makes all the difference.

Message Starters

Stuck on what to write? Borrow one of these — or let them spark your own idea.

"You are thought of and cared about more than you know."

"I hope this card brings a smile to your day. You deserve it!"

"The world is brighter because you are in it."

"Sending you warm thoughts and a big smile today."

"You matter. You are valued. You are loved."

"Here's a little reminder that someone out there is thinking of you today."

"May your day be filled with moments that make your heart happy."

"You've touched more lives than you'll ever know."

"Even though we've never met, I want you to know you are not alone."

"Today I'm thinking of you and sending you all the good vibes I have."

"Your story matters. Your presence matters. You matter."

"Somewhere out there, someone is smiling just because you exist."

Real Stories

Hear from the people whose lives have been touched by a card.

"I received a card last February that simply said, 'You are not forgotten.' I read it every single morning. It changed everything."
